NYC Climate Laws & Greening Buildings

https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZMuf--trD8rGtEyI5T2It3zKveKLmNDwzVr#/registration

You may have heard of Local Law 97, but what exactly is it? Is it the only climate law affecting New Yorkers? And how do we go about complying among efforts to go green?

Register for a virtual presentation co-hosted by Climate Reality Project NYC Chapter and Queens Climate Project (QCP) going deep on the local climate laws, how they affect the buildings we live in, and what going green looks like from the perspective of a co-op dweller. You'll hear first from NYCR leader and New York Accelerator representative Joey Staluppi on the state of local climate laws today. Then, Michael Parrella, a co-op board president and QCP Steering Committee member, will share how he's facilitated his building's energy efficiency over the last 10 years and mapped the next 20 alongside local laws.

Co-hosted by CRP NYC and QCP, we'll leave room at the beginning to introduce ourselves and share the latest updates from both teams. Make sure to come on time for this information packed hour and a half. Register here to attend!

Speakers: Joey Staluppi, CRP NYC leader and New York Accelerator representative; Michael Parrella, a co-op board president and QCP Steering Committee member; Faith Cummings,  journalist and CRP NYC co-chair.
